Our Approach
Welcome to the Forensic Psychology – Active Shooter Identification Course, a comprehensive program designed to equip you with vital knowledge and skills. In this course, we will delve into five essential modules: Historical Analysis, Critical Thinking, Proactive Mindset, Decision Making, and Threat Assessment. This course is not just about learning; it’s about taking action. By the end of this course, you can expect to have a profound understanding of active shooter incidents and how they manifest. You’ll gain critical insights into the psychology behind these events, equipping you with the ability to identify potential threats in your environment. Our overarching goal is to enhance your ability to utilize your subconscious awareness effectively. This heightened awareness will empower you to be proactive in contributing to the prevention of active shooter violence in our communities.
Our Mindset
Flow Mindset – Have you ever been so engrossed in an activity that everything else faded away? The Japanese call it “MUGA,” and in the 1980s, Dr. Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi coined it as “FLOW.” It’s that state where you’re completely immersed, and the outside world vanishes. During this elusive experience, you tap into the mental state necessary for peak performance, pushing your limits to new heights. While many see flow as a philosophical concept, our Active Shooter Course considers it a cornerstone of effective training. Flow enhances awareness, lifts your spirits, and, most importantly, enables you to perform at levels you didn’t think possible. This heightened state of awareness is what we aim to instill in all participants, from all walks of life, through our signature ASI course.
Our Mission
As combat veterans, we intimately understand the significance of this concept. We’ve been in high-stress situations where our performance was mission-critical. Our training and mindset allowed us to transition to a state of consciousness where our bodies could operate efficiently, unimpeded by external pressures. Our mission is to impart these life-saving techniques to every member of our society, creating safer communities and an environment where the youth of America can thrive. Welcome to the Active Shooter Identification Course. Let’s begin the journey to a more secure and prosperous future.

Why take this course?
The fight or flight response is an automatic physiological reaction to an event that is perceived as stressful or frightening. The perception of threat activates the sympathetic nervous system and triggers an acute stress response that prepares the body to fight or flee. These responses are evolutionary adaptations to increase chances of survival in threatening situations.
